    Abstract: A liquid-crystal display device and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The driving method of the liquid-crystal display device comprises: converting data of an input image into a positive gamma reference level voltage and a negative gamma reference voltage to generate a positive data voltage and a negative data voltage; selecting between the positive data voltage and the negative data voltage in response to a polarity control signal and supplying the selected data voltage to data lines; generating a compensated voltage based on the difference between a dummy data voltage and a preset gamma reference level voltage; and increasing the high-potential power supply voltage by an amount equal to the compensated voltage and decreasing the low-potential power-supply voltage by the amount equal to the compensated voltage.

    Abstract: A display device with built-in touch sensors comprises: a display panel with built-in touch sensors; and a touch driver that converts a sensed voltage of the touch sensors into sensed data, wherein the touch driver comprises: an enable signal generator that compares the sensed voltage with a preset offset voltage and outputs an enable signal at a first level if the sensed voltage is higher than or equal to the offset voltage and outputs the enable signal at a second level if the sensed voltage is lower than the offset voltage; and an analog-to-digital converter that converts the sensed voltage into the sensed data when the enable signal is at the first level.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display device using a multiplexer includes a display panel, a data driver, and a multiplexer. The display panel includes first to fourth data lines and first to fourth pixels respectively connected to the first to fourth data lines. The data driver includes a first output buffer supplying a data voltage to the first and third data lines and a second output buffer supplying a data voltage to the second and fourth data lines. The multiplexer distributes the data voltage from the first output buffer to the first and third data lines in a time division manner and distributes the data voltage from the second output buffer to the second and fourth data lines in a time division manner. The multiplexer connects a data line, which is not connected to the first and second output buffers, among the first to fourth data lines, to an initialization voltage line providing an initialization voltage.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display device having a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of pixels connected with the plurality of gate lines and an optical sensor connected with a k-th gate line among the plurality of gate lines. A gate pulse applied to the k-th gate line includes a sensing gate pulse applied during a (k−i)-th horizontal period and a pixel driving gate pulse applied during a k-th horizontal period. The optical sensor connected with the k-th gate line outputs a sensing voltage in response to the sensing gate pulse. The pixel connected with the k-th gate line is applied with a data voltage in response to the pixel driving gate pulse.
