Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including an active area and a non-active area surrounding the active area, a sealing substrate disposed on the substrate, an adhesive film disposed between the substrate and the sealing substrate, a dam disposed between the substrate and the sealing substrate to surround the adhesive film and a lower alignment key disposed between the dam and the substrate to overlap the dam. Therefore, a non-active area can be reduced by removing the process tolerance on one side of the display device.

Abstract: A display device can include a substrate having an active area and a non-active area adjacent to the active area, an encapsulation substrate disposed over the substrate, a dam disposed in the non-active area between the substrate and the encapsulation substrate and an electrode disposed on a first surface of the encapsulation substrate or the substrate, and overlapping the dam. By forming the dam using the electrode, the dam can be more precisely disposed and the non-active area of the display device can be reduced.

Abstract: A light emitting display apparatus includes a substrate, a passivation layer disposed over the substrate, a light emitting device layer including a light emitting layer disposed over the passivation layer, a non-emission pattern portion including a light emitting material pattern disposed over the passivation layer at a periphery portion of the substrate and electrically isolated from the light emitting layer, and an encapsulation layer disposed over the light emitting device layer and the non-emission pattern portion. The encapsulation layer may wholly surround the non-emission pattern portion and seals an interface between the non-emission pattern portion and the passivation layer.
