Abstract: A mirror cell and a display device are disclosed. The mirror cell includes a lower substrate, which includes a lower alignment film and a lower electrode, an upper substrate, which opposes the lower substrate and includes an upper alignment film and an upper electrode, a liquid crystal layer, which is disposed between the lower alignment film and the upper alignment film and includes a cholesteric liquid crystal and a reactive liquid crystal, and a reactive layer, which is disposed between the upper alignment film and the liquid crystal layer and includes a same kind of reactive liquid crystals as the reactive liquid crystal in the liquid crystal layer.

Abstract: A display includes a display panel; and a backlight unit with a first light source package, a second light source package facing towards the first light source package, and a light guide plate disposed between the first light source package and the second light source package. The light guide plate includes first and second patterns protruding from a bottom surface of the light guide plate, the patterns including at least one inclined surface with respect to the bottom surface of the light guide plate, the inclined surface facing towards a corresponding one of the first light source package or the second light source package.
