    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a full-screen display device capable of sufficiently securing light transmittance of a sensor area overlapping a sensor unit in a pixel array and minimizing deterioration in perceived image quality of the sensor area. The pixels are arranged in the sensor area overlapping the sensor unit in the pixel array of the full-screen display device such that the number of pixels gradually decreases from the outer periphery toward the center of the sensor area in units of masks, and the area of a transmission portion gradually increases from the outer periphery toward the center of the sensor area in units of masks.

    Abstract: A display for virtual reality is discussed, which is capable of alleviating a screen-door effect, thereby improving its image quality. In the display for virtual reality, a light diffusion member, which diffuses light emitted from a light-transmitting area of a display panel to a light-blocking area of the display panel, is interposed between the display panel and an optical lens, whereby a user who views an image displayed on the display panel at a very close position does not perceive the light-blocking area, which improves the image quality of the display.

    Abstract: Moving fingerprint recognition method and apparatus using display is provided. A moving fingerprint recognition method includes driving a pixel array, a touch sensor and a fingerprint sensor located in a display area of a display, continuously sensing touch positions of a finger touching and moving on a surface of the display through the fingerprint sensor, calculating touch coordinates of each frame from an output of the touch sensor during a time corresponding to a plurality of frames, and storing the touch coordinates in a memory, continuously sensing a fingerprint of the touched and moved finger through the fingerprint sensor, acquiring fingerprint data of each frame from an output of the fingerprint sensor during the time corresponding to the plurality of frames, and storing the fingerprint data in the memory, and acquiring fingerprint recognition data of one frame by up-scaling, summing and synthesizing the fingerprint data of the plurality of frames.
