Abstract: A portable device and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, in which a user may set a timer or alarm more conveniently and more exactly. The portable device comprises a display unit, a sensor unit configured to sense a touch input for the display unit, and a processor configured to control the display unit and the sensor unit, wherein the processor is further configured to display an unlock interface for unlocking a lock state when the portable device is in the lock state, the unlock interface including a current time indicator displaying current time information, the current time indicator including a first zone indicating current hour unit information and a second zone indicating current minute unit information.

Abstract: Disclosed are a wearable device and method of controlling the same, which output more suitable image information on the basis of a state in which the wearable device is covered.
