Abstract: A display device including a display unit having a display panel and a camera; a posture adjustment driving unit configured to adjust a posture of the display unit; and a controller configured to control the posture adjustment unit to adjust the posture of the display unit to be raised to a top end of a vertical movement range of the display unit and to tilt downwards or to be lowered to a bottom end of the vertical movement range of the display unit and to tilt upwards, control the camera to detect if a viewer is viewing the display unit when the display unit is raised to the top end or bottom end of the vertical movement range, determine a current posture of the viewer when the viewer is detected, and control the posture adjustment unit to adjust the posture of the display unit so the current posture of the viewer is changed into an upright posture with eyes of the viewer being centrally located within an area of the display unit.
