Abstract: An artificial intelligence device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a display, a memory configured for storing therein a boredom sensing model, and a processor configured for obtaining viewing situation data including times of channel changes and a channel watching duration for a predetermined duration, determining an emotional state of a viewer using the obtained viewing situation data and the boredom sensing model, and displaying a recommended content list on the display if the emotional state is determined to be a bored state.
