Abstract: Proposed is a muscle exercise device. In the muscle exercise device, when it is detected that a withdrawal position of a cable has entered a preset safety area in a process in which a device control part controls a drive motor in an exercise mode, the drive motor may be controlled so that an exercise load of the drive motor is reduced. Through this, when it is detected that the cable is retracted into the safety area without completely entering the initial position, for example, the device body, an exercise load may be reduced, thereby obtaining the same effect as ending exercise by mounting an exercise device such as a barbell to an existing mounting part.

Abstract: An exercise coaching device based on artificial intelligence is proposed. According to an exemplary embodiment, an exercise pose extraction unit of the exercise coaching device may generate pose data by extracting an exercise pose of an exercising object from an exercise image captured by an image capturing unit. In addition, an exercise pose analysis unit may receive the pose data based on the artificial intelligence and infer whether the exercise pose is in a correct posture. In addition, the exercise coaching device according to the exemplary embodiment may be configured to further include a coaching information output unit configured to output exercise coaching information on the basis of an inference result of the exercise pose analysis unit. In this way, whether the exercise posture is correct or not is inferred accurately on the basis of the artificial intelligence, and thus appropriate exercise coaching information may be provided to a user.

Abstract: Disclosed are exercise equipment and a method for controlling the exercise equipment including a main body forming an external shape of the equipment, an extendable/retractable wire that is disposed inside the main body and exposed to the outside of the main body, a load generator that provides a set load when the wire is extended/retracted, a power supply that supplies power to the load generator, and a controller that controls the power supply and the load generator. The method includes an exercise load setting of setting the set load by determining the retraction of the wire while increasing a load generated by the load generator as the wire is extended, an exercise start determining of determining start of exercise based on the extension of the wire, an exercise load varying of reducing or increasing the load generated by the load generator based on a change in a length of the wire, and an exercise end determining of determining whether the exercise is in progress and whether the exercise is ended by sensing the length and the retracted state of the wire.
