Abstract: A method of controlling a laundry treatment device includes introducing washing water into a tub of the laundry treatment device, identifying first turbidity information on the washing water after the washing water is introduced into the tub, identifying a type of detergent based on the identified first turbidity information, and controlling a washing stroke according to the type of the detergent.
