    Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine including an inner tub in which fabrics are accommodated, a fixing hub installed to the inner tub, a rotating shaft configured to penetrate the inner tub and the fixing hub, a sun gear installed to the rotating shaft and having a lower gear portion and an upper pulsator coupling portion, an inner pulsator coupled to the pulsator coupling portion, a plurality of planetary gears engaged with the gear portion and rotatably arranged on the fixing hub, a ring gear having an inner circumferential surface engaged with the planetary gears, a gear box coupled to the ring gear, and an outer pulsator coupled to the gear box, the outer pulsator being larger than the inner pulsator. As the inner pulsator and outer pulsator are rotated at different rates of rotation, complex 3D water stream may be created in the inner tub, resulting in enhanced washing ability.

    Abstract: A top-loading-type washing machine including a drum, a drive module for rotating the drum via a drive shaft, inner and outer pulsators placed in the drum so as to be rotated in opposite directions, and a gearbox connected to the drive shaft for rotating both the pulsators.     Abstract: Provided is a washing machine. The washing machine includes a tub, a drum, a pulsator, a water stream generation unit, a filter cap, and a check valve. The tub contains washing water. The drum is rotatably disposed in the tub and receiving laundry. The pulsator is rotatably disposed inside the drum and has a spouting outlet. The water stream generation unit is disposed under the pulsator and forms a water stream spouted through the spouting outlet by circulating washing water contained between the tub and the drum. The filter cap collects foreign substances floating in washing water spouted through the spouting outlet. The check valve opens the spouting outlet by the water stream formed by the water stream generation unit.
