    Abstract: A method of packet domain event reporting performed by a user equipment (UE) including a mobile termination (MT) and a terminal equipment (TE), and the user equipment thereof. The method according to one embodiment includes performing, by the MT, context activation for establishing a dual-stack bearer between the MT and a network; receiving, by the MT from the network, information indicating that the context activation of the dual-stack bearer is not possible between the network and the MT; and sending, by the MT to the TE, a message including a reason parameter for indicating a reason as to why the context activation of the dual-stack bearer is not possible between the network and the MT, when a requested Packet Data Protocol (PDP) type is Internet Protocol (IP) v4v6 and a assigned PDP type is either IPv4 or IPv6.

    Abstract: An apparatus including a Mobile Termination (MT); a Terminal Equipment (TE); and a Terminal Adaptor (TA). The MT performs context activation. The MT receives, from the network, information indicating that the context activation of the dual-stack bearer is not granted. The MT transmits, to the TE, a response message including a reason parameter selected among a first parameter to a fourth parameter. The first parameter indicates that an Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is only allowed, the second parameter indicates that an Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is only allowed, the third parameter indicates that single address bearers only allowed, and the fourth parameter indicates that single address bearers only allowed and context activation of a second address type bearer was not successful. The response message further includes a context identifier allocated by the MT for an initiated context of the second address type considering three conditions.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of performing Pseudo-random-Noise (PN) quadrature covering for transmitting data via an access channel. Such method is achieved by receiving a 42-bit access long code mask MIACMAC and a 42-bit access long code mask MQACMAC from an upper layer; generating an MI mask and an MQ mask for PN quadrature covering by using certain bits of an assigned channel number for the access channel and by performing exclusive OR operations on certain bits of the received access long code mask MIACMAC and performing exclusive OR operations on certain bits of the received access long code mask MQACMAC; and transmitting signals via the access channel based on the generated 12-bit MI mask and the generated 12-bit MQ mask.
