Abstract: A method for controlling an electronic device using blockchain can include transmitting, by a processor in the electronic device, a first transaction to a device account (DA) stored in a distributed server of a blockchain network and logically coupled with the electronic device, the DA including data uniquely identifying the electronic device, transmitting, by the DA, a second transaction to a smart contract, and transmitting, by the DA, device data for controlling an operation of the electronic device to the smart contract. Also, the method can further include receiving, by the DA, data corresponding to a first value according to a transaction rule defined in the smart contract, transmitting, by the DA, the first value to the electronic device, and executing, by the electronic device, a control command corresponding to the first value.
