摘要： Disclosed are a terminal and controlling method thereof. The present invention includes displaying a preview image captured through a camera, obtaining an input for selecting an object from the displayed preview image, determining a smart zoom magnification for the selected object to be displayed in an optimal size, zoom-processing the preview image at the determined smart zoom magnification centering on the selected object, and displaying the zoom-processed preview image.
