Abstract: An information processing system may include a plurality of home appliances, a terminal configured to process information of the plurality of home appliances, an individual service area configured to provide an individual service, and an information processing apparatus connected to the terminal and the plurality of home appliances through a network and configured to provide an application service using the individual service. The information processing apparatus may be configured to receive basic information including that a user using the plurality of home appliances is going out, confirm a user's schedule information indicating the user is going out from the basic information by using the individual service, confirm a first state of the of the plurality of home appliances, and change a first home appliance of the plurality of home appliances from the first state to a second state.
