Abstract: A mobile terminal displays a chat window including a merchandise seller as a message correspondent; activates a payment function linked to a message application being executed; displays purchase information of a product in the chat window in response to a purchase order; displays a payment window over the chat window in response to an input for selecting the purchase information; and displays a result of a payment transaction processed for purchase of the product in the chat window in response to a payment request received via the payment window. In response to an input for adding at least one message correspondent to the chat window in order to perform a group purchase for the product, the mobile terminal updates the purchase information based on a purchase quantity entered by message correspondents who participate in the group purchase and displays the updated purchase information in the chat window.
