Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of predicting a future touch movement based on a previous touch movement, and applying the future touch movement onto a screen, and a touch coordinate predicting method thereof. Each touch coordinate with respect to a touch movement detected on an application screen is displayed. A change of previous touch coordinates is checked at a time point when a touch coordinate is displayed. A touch coordinate predictive value is calculated based on previous touch coordinates, and then the calculated touch coordinate predictive value is applied onto a current touch coordinate. Under such configuration, a response time, which occurs between a finger's movement and an actual character movement (or a drawing output) due to touch input lag, can be reduced.
Abstract:
An electronic device and a method of controlling the same, where the electronic device includes a touchscreen, a sensing unit configured to sense a touch pattern applied to the touchscreen, a memory configured to store a function corresponding to the touch pattern, and a controller configured to sense a touch pattern of a touch input through the sensing unit upon reception of the touch input through the touchscreen and to execute a function corresponding to the sensed touch pattern, stored in the memory, wherein the sensing unit recognizes the touch pattern based on vibration generated when the touch input is received through the touchscreen. Accordingly, touch patterns can be discriminated based on portions of a finger, which come into contact with the touchscreen to apply the touch patterns, and different functions respectively corresponding to the touch patterns can be executed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile device and a method for controlling same, and the subject matter of the present invention comprises: classifying a received first texture as a static texture or a dynamic texture on the basis of the attribute of the texture; when the first texture is a static texture, classifying the first texture as a compressed texture or an uncompressed texture on the basis of compression application; when the first texture is a static texture and a compressed texture, classifying the first texture as a mipmapped texture or a non-mipmapped texture on the basis of mipmap application; when the first texture is a static texture and an uncompressed texture, classifying the first texture as a mipmapped texture or a non-mipmapped texture on the basis of mipmap application; when the first texture is a dynamic texture, classifying the first texture as a shadow map or a non-shadow map on the basis of the aspect ratio of a screen; adjusting the size of the first texture on the basis of the classified texture attributes; and displaying the first texture according to a control command from a control unit.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal including a touchscreen configured to receive an input of a first touch gesture and a second touch gesture; a memory configured to store a discrimination value for determining if the first or second touch gesture is by a touch pen; and a controller configured to compare an attribute of the first touch gesture with the discrimination value, receive the first touch gesture as being from the touch pen when the attribute of the first touch gesture is within a predetermined value or range of the discrimination value, and execute an operation corresponding to the touch pen based on the first touch gesture being received as the touch pen.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for controlling a mobile terminal, including a touch sensor that detects a touch input with respect to a specific region of a touch screen, and a controller that determines whether the touch input continues to be received for reference time for which a state in which the mobile terminal is gripped by a user is recognized and that, when the touch input continues to be received for the reference time, blocks touch information corresponding to the touch input.
