Abstract: Disclosed are an augmented reality device and a gesture recognition calibration method thereof. Abstract: Disclosed is a method of controlling an intelligent electronic device including initiating implicit continuous authentication, obtaining sensor data from at least one sensor, classifying a security level of the intelligent electronic device into at least two states having different security on the basis of the sensor data, and determining an authentication period of the implicit continuous authentication according to the classified security level, wherein the at least one sensor is continuously activated on the basis of the determined authentication period.
