Abstract: An energy storage system of the present disclosure includes: a first cell group comprising a plurality of first cell arrays which are spaced apart from each other in a first direction, and connected in series with each other; a second cell group which is disposed in one side of the first cell group, and includes: at least one second cell array; a plurality of first bus bars which are disposed between the plurality of first cell arrays, and connect each of two adjacent first cell arrays in series; and at least one second bus bar connecting one of the plurality of first cell arrays and the second cell array in series.
