Abstract: A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a drum rotatably provided in the cabinet, a base disposed below the drum, a motor configured to provide power to rotate the drum, a heat exchange unit including a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, and a compressor, and a control box including a blower fan and a printed circuit board configured to control operation of the motor, the compressor or the blower fan and to supply power. The motor is disposed behind the drum so as to be separated from and spaced apart from the base, and the base includes a circulation flow path formed on one side of the base, and a control box installation space provided on a remaining side of the base in a lateral direction of a flow path and configured such that the control box is mounted in the control box installation space.
