摘要: A method of reducing the rate of digestibility of a beverage so as to increase the period of time over which the beverage supplies energy to an individual who has consumed it by supplementing the beverage with a heat moisture treated starch is disclosed. Ready-to-drink and reconstitutable extended energy beverages are also included.
