    摘要: A portable information device is capable of stably supporting a foldable display. The portable information device has a support plate which is fixed to the inner surface sides of a first chassis member and a second chassis member and supports the rear surface of a display.     摘要: A portable information device includes a hinge device rotatably connecting one edge portions of a first chassis and a second chassis, a display, and a cover member covering a side of the hinge device. The hinge device connects the first chassis and the second chassis so as to be foldable from a usage form in which a top surface of the first chassis and a top surface of the second chassis are on substantially the same plane to a storage form in which the top surfaces of the first chassis and the second chassis face each other. The cover member is contained inside the first chassis and the second chassis in the usage form and covers a side of a gap formed by separation of the one edge portions of the first chassis and the second chassis in the storage form.

    摘要: A connector⋅substrate assembly can be disposed at a position where a tip portion of the connector is inserted into a connector hole simply and at a low cost without using an additional small substrate, an additional relay cable, and the like; an electronic device; and a method for assembling the same are provided. A connector is supported so as to be slidable with respect to a substrate, from a preparation position to a mounting position, and the tip of the connector projects outwardly from a right side of an end portion of the substrate at least at the mounting position. A chassis has a connector hole in the side surface. The connector does not interfere with a frame portion of the connector hole at the preparation position and the substrate can be properly attached to the chassis. The tip of the connector enters the connector hole at the mounting position. By slidably supporting the connector as described above, a small substrate, a relay cable, and the like become unnecessary, so that a reduction in the number of parts and simplification of an assembling process are achieved.

The portable information device includes a first chassis member and a second chassis member connected mutually rotatable, a first support plate that supports a display on the side of the first chassis member, a second support plate that supports the display on the side of the second chassis member, a first locking member including a first fixing portion to be fixed to the rear face of the first support plate with adhesive, and a first locking piece projecting from one end face of the first support plate, the first locking piece being configured to come in contact with and separate from the rear face of the second support plate. The first support plate includes a first contact face with which the first locking member comes in contact and a first adhesive face that fixes the first locking member with the adhesive. The first adhesive face is recessed from the first contact face by a thickness of the adhesive.
