摘要： A variable window shutter system for attachment to a building including a casing, a frame configured to house one or more louvers, a drive mechanism and gear box configured to move the angle of the louvers that in turn adjusts the amount of light entering the variable window shutter system. The angle of the louvers may be adjusted using a crank handle or a motorized mechanism. The frame may open while being rotatably attached to the casing and kept in an open position using stay bars.
