摘要： A grandstand arrangement of the drawer-type comprises a plurality of seating sections supported at different levels, each section having a seating platform sloping downwardly in a forward direction with all but the rearwardmost platform being pivotally mounted at its forward end for lowering into a horizontal position. The height and width of each pivotally mounted section in the horizontal position of its seating platform is less than the corresponding height and width of the structural framework of an adjacent section so that each section may be telescoped one within the other into a compact storage position.

摘要： The seat bottom for each of a row of chairs is hingedly connected between spaced standards supporting the seat backs and arms. Brackets having pivot arms are located on opposite sides of the seat bottom for the reception within sockets on each standard extending toward each seat bottom. No fasteners or assembling tools are therefore required for the seat bottoms.

摘要： An audience chair is movable between a seating position and a push-back position by means of link members interconnecting the seat bottom with a seat support. The link members are spaced, inclined forwardly and slightly inclined toward one another thereby permitting the chair to be moved initially upwardly and slightly rearwardly about the pivotal connections of the link members whereupon the seat bottom remains in a substantially horizontal position. The chair may continue to be moved rearwardly about such pivotal connections whereupon the seat bottom is placed in a downwardly inclined position.
