Abstract: Administration of pharmaceutically acceptable 1-methyl-3-keto-4phenylquinuclidinium salts is described as a chemotherapeutic method of treating hypertension in hypertensives. Daily doses ranging from 10 mg/kg to 300 mg/kg are effective in producing an antihypertensive effect in the latter.
