Abstract: Disclosed herein is a solid-state composite polymer electrolyte membrane including a solid-state electrolyte layer and a cured electrolyte layer disposed thereon. The solid-state electrolyte layer includes poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene), lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, succinonitrile, and aluminum-doped lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide that is present from 50 wt % to 80 wt % based on 100 wt % of the solid-state electrolyte layer. The first cured electrolyte layer is formed by subjecting a first composition including a first initiator and a first component that includes an acrylic material, lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide and succinonitrile to a first polymerization reaction. The acrylic material is selected from ethoxylated trimethylolpropane triacrylate, poly(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate, poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate, and combinations thereof. An all-solid-state lithium ion battery including the solid-state composite polymer electrolyte membrane is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the fabrication of a LaZrGa(OH)x metal hydroxide precursor with a co-precipitation method in a continuous TFR. The present invention also provides a method for the fabrication of an ion-doped all-solid-state lithium-ion conductive material with lithium ionic conductivity, and mixing with the polymer-based material, then using a doctor-blade coating method to prepare free-standing double- or triple-layered organic-inorganic hybrid solid electrolyte membranes. Furthermore, the present invention provides an all-solid-state lithium battery using the aforementioned hybrid solid electrolyte membrane and the electrochemical performance of the all-solid-state lithium battery. The all-solid-state lithium battery may enhance the lithium ionic conductivity and lower the interfacial resistance between the hybrid solid electrolyte membrane and the electrodes, therefore the battery may have excellent performance, and prevent the lithium-dendrite formation effectively to enhance the battery safety.

Abstract: A method for making a lithium foil anode of an all-solid-state lithium battery includes the steps of: a) dispersing a carbon nanomaterial in water to form a dispersion; b) mixing dopamine with the dispersion so as to permit the dopamine to perform a polymerization reaction in the dispersion to obtain a surface-modified carbon nanomaterial which is surface-modified by polydopamine; c) forming a regular sub-millimeter textured structure on a lithium foil; d) mixing the surface-modified carbon nanomaterial with a lithium ion-containing polymer to form a mixture; and e) applying the mixture on the lithium foil.
