    Abstract: A speed reducer includes a casing, a crankshaft, and a speed reducer main body. The crankshaft has a rotation support part rotatably supported by the casing and an eccentric part eccentric with respect to the rotation support part. The speed reducer main body has an engagement part engaged with an outer circumferential surface of the eccentric part, decelerates rocking rotation of the eccentric part received by the engagement part, and outputs the decelerated rotation to outside. The crankshaft is provided with a flange part protruding to an outward side in a radial direction from an end part of the rotation support part on the eccentric part side and abutting an end surface of the engagement part in an axial direction. The flange part is formed such that a center thereof coincides with a center of the eccentric part in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction.

    Abstract: Provided are a speed reduction mechanism and a motor with a speed reducer, which are highly efficient and compact. The present invention is provided with: an eccentric shaft rotated about a motor axis by the rotational force of a motor section and having an outer peripheral surface having a center at a position eccentric to the motor axis; a rocking gear rotatably supported by the outer peripheral surface through a ball bearing and having inner teeth and outer teeth; a ring gear having inner teeth which mesh with the outer teeth of the rocking gear and which are concentric with the motor axis; and an output section having outer teeth which mesh with the inner teeth of the rocking gear and which are concentric with the motor axis.

    Abstract: Notch bottom parts 152a, 152b are arranged side-by-side with terminal accommodation boxes 100a, 100b in a circumferential direction of an insulator 134, and a routing direction of a pair of coil ends 44a inside the terminal accommodation boxes 100a, 100b is directed to a direction intersecting with an insertion direction of flat-type male terminals T1, T2. Accordingly, at the time of inserting the flat-type male terminals T1, T2 into the terminal accommodation boxes 100a, 100b, an unreasonable force is suppressed from being applied to the pair of coil ends 44a, and, as a result, a defect such as disconnection of the pair of coil ends 44a can be prevented from occurring. In addition, it is possible to orderly route the pair of coil ends 44a on the insulator 43 via the notch bottom parts 152a, 152b, and, as a result, a short circuit with another coil 44 can be prevented.
