Abstract: A lith type photographic material, the development of which can be easily controlled, is obtained by use of a fine grain photographic silver halide emulsion to which have been added a polyethylene oxide, or a derivative thereof, and a triazoline derivative, or a tautomeric compound thereof, having the general formula,
wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and A is an amino group, an acid amide group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or an allyl group.
