摘要:
Anthraquinone dyes of the general formula wherein X is hydroxyl or amino, Y and Z are each hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino, methylamino or methylolamino, n is an integer of 0 to 3 and R is alkyl or cycloalkyl, the total number of carbon atoms in the n R substituents being not more than 12, and wherein the anthraquinond and benzene nuclei may be further substitutee by halogen, provided that (a) the dye contains not more than two amino and substituted amino groups, (b) when Z is amino or substituted amino Y is hydroxyl, (c) when Y is amino or substituted amino Z is hydroxyl and (d) when Y and Z are both hydrogen, the benzene nucleus contains at least one alkyl or cycloalkyl group of at least three carbon atoms, are made by heating together in the presence of caustic alkali (a) the anthraquinone compounds of the above formula in which the phenoxy group is replaced by halogen and (b) the phenols corresponding to the phenoxy group in the above formula.ALSO:Fibrous materials consisting of or containing a polyolefin such as polyethylene, polypropylene and blends of polyolefines with epoxy resins, are dyed by immersing them in a solution or dispersion of a dye of the formula:- wherein X is hydroxyl or amino, Y and Z are each hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino, methylamino or methylolamino, n is an integer of 0 to 3 and R is alkyl or cycloalkyl, the total number of carbon atoms in the n R substituents being not more than 12, and wherein the anthraquinone and benzene nuclei may be further substituted by halogen, provided that (a) the dye contains not more than two amino and substituted amino groups, (b) when Z is amino or substituted amino Y is hydroxyl, (c) when Y is amino or substituted amino Z is hydroxyl and (d) when Y and Z are both hydrogen, the benzene nucleus contains at least one alkyl or cycloalkyl group of at least three carbon atoms. The dyeing is effected by immersing the material in a dispersion of the dye in water containing a dispersing agent such as sodium dinaphthylmethane-disulphonate or a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, or by padding the material with an aqueous dispersion or solution in an organic solvent of the dye and dry heating at 120-135 DEG C. The dye bath may be prepared from a mixture made by grinding the dye with a dispersing agent or by pouring a solution of dye in an organic solvent such as acetone or alcohol into a solution of dispersing agent. The dyed material may be after-treated by heating in an aqueous solution of an organic or inorganic salt of cobalt, chromium, iron or copper. In examples, dyes of the above formula are used to dye (1) polyporpylene fibre and polypropylene fibre blended with epoxy resin from a dye bath also containing lauryl sulphonate at boiling temperature; polypropylene fabric from (12) acetone solution and (13) 1:2-dichloropropane solution following by a heat treatment; and (14) a dyed fabric is after treated with aqueous chromium acetate solution.
