    Abstract: The invention relates to a PTC heating element (1). The PTC heating element (1) comprises a block-shaped PTC thermistor (2) having two contact surfaces (4a, 4b) and two electrically conductive contact plates (3a, 3b). The PTC thermistor (2) is arranged between the contact plates (3a, 3b) and facing the contact plates (3a, 3b) with the contact surfaces (4a, 4b). An adhesion-promoting electrically conductive bonding layer (6a, 6b) each is arranged between the contact surface (4a, 4b) and the contact plate (3a, 3b). The PTC thermistor (2) is firmly connected to the respective contact plates (3a, 3b) by means of the respective bonding layers (6a, 6b) and electrically conductively contacted.
    The adhesion-promoting electrically conductive bonding layer (6a, 6b) according to the invention comprises silicone or consists thereof.

    Abstract: A PTC heating module for heating a fluid may include two contact plates between which at least one cuboid PTC thermistor is arranged and at least one contact socket with a contact side. The PTC thermistor may have two main sides disposed opposite each other and defining a thermistor thickness therebetween. The contact side of the at least one contact socket may rest against a first main side of the at least one PTC thermistor and another side may rest against a first contact plate. A geometric contact surface between the first main side and the contact side of the at least one contact socket may be smaller than a geometric surface of the first main side. A clearance distance extending between the two contact plates and a creapage distance extending from the at least one contact socket to a second contact plate may be larger than the thermistor thickness.

    Abstract: An electric heating device for heating a temperature-control fluid may include two electrodes, a heating element, and an elevation. The two electrodes may each include an electrode body with an inner surface. The heating element may include two electrical connecting surfaces disposed opposite one another. The heating element may be arranged between the two electrodes such that each connecting surface faces the inner surface of a respective one of the two electrodes. A joint may be delimited by the inner surface of an electrode and the associated connecting surface of the heating element. The joint may be filled with an adhesive via which the electrode is connected to the heating element in an integrally bonded manner. The elevation may project into the joint from the inner surface delimiting the joint. The elevation may lie against the associated connecting surface and electrically connect the electrode to the associated connecting surface.

    Abstract: A PTC heating module for heating a fluid may include at least one PTC thermistor having two flat main surfaces disposed opposite one another. The two main surfaces may be arranged parallel to and spaced apart from one another defining a thermistor thickness of the at least one PTC thermistor therebetween. The two main surfaces may be connected to one another by at least one lateral surface and the at least one PTC thermistor may be delimited toward an outside by the at least one lateral surface and the two main surfaces. The module may also include two contact plates between which the at least one PTC thermistor is arranged. A cross section of the at least one PTC thermistor defined perpendicularly to the two main surfaces may deviate from a rectangle such that a creep distance between the two main surfaces is greater than the thermistor thickness.
