    摘要: An optical pickup includes an object lens; a moving part including the object lens and coils; rod-shaped support members disposed in a focusing direction, one end of each of the support members being attached to side surfaces of the moving part in a tracking direction; a fixing part for fixing the other end of each of the support members; a yoke including magnets; and gel holding parts, each of the gel holding parts including walls on both sides of the support members in the tracking direction, and the support members being disposed on both sides of the moving part in the tracking direction. Each of the gel holding parts includes an opening at one end on an optical disc side in the focusing direction and includes a cutout in the wall farther from the object lens in the tracking direction, the cutout extending from an edge of the opening.

    摘要: The present invention provides an object lens actuator, an optical pickup, and an optical disk drive, which can increase the size of the object lens actuator driving a lens holder in the tangential tilt direction, and drive and control the lens holder with a small amount of drive current.An object lens actuator comprising a lens holder having an object lens and a first coil; a first magnet fixed to a yoke; plural elastic support parts for supporting said lens holder with a first fulcrum; a moving part for supporting said elastic support parts with a second fulcrum different from said first fulcrum, and a fixed part having a moving mechanism for moving said moving part, wherein said first coil and said first magnet constitute a first magnetic circuit, said first magnetic circuit makes said lens holder movable in a focusing direction, a tracking direction and a radial tilt direction of an optical disk for read/write, and said moving mechanism makes said moving part movable.

    摘要: An object lens actuator can improve workability and operate with high reliability by prevention of damage to the object lens actuator and a disc and sticking of a moving part caused by an excessive movement of the moving part. In a disc drive employing the object lens actuation, stable writing/reading operation is implemented by always keeping a focal point of an object lens at a predetermined track of a recording surface of the disc even when being under the action of external perturbations such as a vertical deviation or a radial deviation of the disc, resulting in improved reliability. A solder-flux adhesion prevention gadget is provided between a substrate and a stopper receiving face, which may include a stepped stage, a partition protruding from the surface of the lens holder, or alternatively a combination of them arranged in order in the range.

    摘要: An objective lens actuator, being suitable for a thin-sized optical pickup and a thin-sized optical disc apparatus, comprises: an objective lens for focusing a light upon a recording surface of an optical disc; and a driving means including a focusing coil, tracking coils, and a magnetic circuit, for operating the objective lens into a focusing direction of approaching/receding to/from the optical disc, and into a tracking direction of a radius of the optical disc, wherein the magnetic circuit has two (2) pieces of magnets putting the objective lens therebetween, and one of the magnets is short of length in the focusing direction and is long in length in the tracking direction, comparing to the other magnet, thereby brining an unnecessary moment, which is applied upon a moving part including the objective lens therein, to be small, and suppressing inclination or tile and vibration of the objective lens, so as to deal with high-density and high-speed recording/reproducing of information.
