摘要： A tamper-resistant device for use with a conventional bait station is formed as a reusable, tear-resistant sock for pulling over and protectively covering the station. The sock may be constructed of ballistic nylon with minimal seams strategically placed so as not to directly contact the hinges and edges. The sock forms a tight band encompassing the station to prevent opening via the hinges. An access slit connecting an edge of the opening of the sock to a cut-out for inserting an anchoring stake therethrough allows the device to be installed and removed with the bait station anchored in situ in the ground. A securable flap extending over the opening of the sock may be secured directly to the locked openable side of the station or may include hook-and-loop attachments for securing to complementary attachments on the sock.
