    摘要： Some embodiments relate to techniques for receiving a query from a device and location data indicating a location of the device, the location data having a level of specificity; in response to the query being received, identifying at least one first search engine to which to submit a representation of the query; determining whether the level of specificity of the received location data is sufficient for the at least one first search engine; if the level of specificity of the location data is sufficient, instructing the device to issue the representation of the query to the at least one first search engine; and if the level of specificity of the location data is not sufficient, instructing the device to send, to the at least one computer, location data at a greater level of specificity.

    摘要： Fluid is lifted from a well with a continuous loop of fibrous material, such as rope. The rope loop is formed around a drive sheave on the surface with a return sheave down inside of the well. The drive sheave has ridges along the side surfaces of a groove. The rope lays in the groove in contact with the ridges. A motor rotates the drive sheave so as to lift the oily rope from the well. Guides and wipers are provided to direct the rope into the drive sheave and to the wipers. The wipers are slotted cards that scrape a quantity of oil from the outside surface of the rope. The oil falls down into a bottom of a housing for collection purposes.

    摘要： An automated feed system for advancing small article blanks into a machine tool for precision finishing comprises a feeder-hopper which aligns the blanks in a common orientation. An output guide then directs a row of these blanks towards an indexing cylinder which then dispenses such, one by one, into the machine tool. The dispensing of these blanks out of the indexing cylinder may occur over a curved chute which terminates in an adjustable head stop or, in the alternative, the head stop may be pivotally moved in synchronism with the cylinder.
