摘要： A box connector for cable comprises an annular connector in which one or more inwardly extending arms are formed. The inwardly extending arms are formed such that cable may be inserted in one direction, but cannot be pulled out in the other direction until the inwardly extending arms are released. In use, the box connector is inserted into an electrical box prior to inserting cable. Thereafter, cable is threaded into the electrical box. Once the cable is threaded into the electrical box, the cable is fixedly held via the inwardly extending arms.

摘要： An electrical box comprises a back wall and opposing top and bottom walls. Coupled to a top wall is a track that is configured to interface with a wall mount feature (such as a nail boss) in such a manner that the wall mount features can slide within the track. In such a manner, the wall mount features can be placed in a forward position for storage or transportation, and in a rearward position when installed in a wall. The forward position of the wall mounting feature allows electrical boxes to be nested within each other, raising the shipping density of electrical boxes that can be stored.

The electrical box comprises a mounting structure attached to at least one wall of the electrical box. The mounting structure is configured to mount the electrical box to a vertical wall structure such that the open end faces substantially parallel to the vertical wall structure. At least two extendable first rings each continuously surround one of the two open ends of the electrical box. The at least two extendable first rings are each slidably coupled with the electrical box via the sliding mechanical cooperation of one or more guides with one or more tracks, such that sliding either of the at least two extendable first rings in relation to the open ends of the electrical box expands the electrical box from the first depth to a larger second depth.

The lid is coupled by a hinge to a base and the cover includes a cord port in an edge of a surface of the cover. The lid is configured to expand through the flexible membrane to an expanded position to accommodate an electrical connector coupled with the electrical device. The lid may also be configured to reduce in depth as the lid retracts from the expanded position to a retracted position through the flexible membrane.
