The transmitter comprises a housing, a process variable sensor configured to sense the process variable of the industrial process, transmitter circuitry coupled to the process variable sensor configured to provide a transmitter output and a connection member in the housing configured to couple to the transmitter circuitry. A first rotatable connector on the connection member includes a plurality of first conductors. A module includes a second rotatable connector having a plurality of second conductors. The plurality of first and second conductors are configured to electrically connect together.

    摘要： An environmentally sealed service block is mounted inside a field wiring compartment of a process fluid transmitter. The service block has field wiring terminals, sealed jumper assemblies and sealed pushbutton switches connected to a sealed cable and plug. The sealed plug plugs into a permanently sealed transmitter assembly. High impedance programming circuitry connected to the jumper assemblies and pushbutton switches is completely sealed and not subject to malfunction due to contamination present in the field wiring compartment.
