    摘要: There is provided a field leak preventing coating film of a cahtode ray tube, comprising a vacuum case comprising the panel section, a neck section and a funnel section connecting the panel section and the neck section; a fluorescent film applied on an inner face of the panel section; and an electron gun, stored in the neck section, for emitting three electron beams toward the fluorescent film, by adhering a double coating film composed of a conductive first layer mainly composed of particles of one or more kinds of metal among noble metal elements of gold (Au), silver (Ag) or platinum (Pt) and a second layer mainly composed of silicon dioxide (SiO2) or magnesium fluoride (MgF2) on an outer face of a faceplate of a panel section of the color cathode ray tube.

    摘要: A panel has a flat external surface and has a curvature on an inner surface thereof. A coating having light absorption characteristics is formed on the external surface of the panel. To the top of the coating, a film which has light absorbing characteristics and contains an adhesive is adhered. The light absorption by the coating is large at the central portion of the panel and is small at the peripheral portion of the panel. The light absorption characteristics of the film is approximately uniform on the entire surface of the panel. Due to such a constitution, a color picture tube having a flat external surface, the least brightness difference and an excellent contrast can be realized.

    摘要: A color cathode ray tube is generally constituted from a panel section for visually displaying images and a neck portion containing therein an electron gun assembly plus a funnel section for coupling the panel section and the neck portion together. The panel comprises on its outer surface a colored film that includes a coloring matter or pigment for color-selective absorption of light rays and fine or micro-particles with electricity-resistant property for letting the pigment scatter or disperse. With said arrangement, it is possible to improve the light absorbability of the colored film, thereby enabling provision of the intended cathode ray tube with improved contrast.

The high refractive index film is sandwiched between the outer face of the glass panel and the low refractive index film and an average roughness of an outer surface of said low refractive index film is less than an average roughness of an unevenness of an interface between the high refractive index film and the low refractive index film.

    摘要: A cathode ray tube comprising a vacuum enclosure including a glass panel 1 whose inner face is coated with a phosphor film 4 to form a screen; a neck portion housing an electron gun; and a funnel portion connecting the glass panel and the neck portion. A multi-layered anti-reflection, anti-electrostatic charge film formed on the outer face of the glass panel is constructed of a high refractive index film having a refractive index of 1.6 to 2.2 and a low refractive index film having a refractive index of 1.3 to 1.58. The high refractive index film is sandwiched between the outer face of the glass panel and the low refractive index film, and an unevenness having an average diameter of 5 to 80 .mu.m is provided at the interface between the high refractive index film and the low refractive index film. The interface has a height of 10 to 40 nm. The unevenness of the surface of the low refractive index film is made smaller than the average roughness Rz of the unevenness of the interface between the high refractive index film and the low refractive index film, or the surface of the low refractive index film is flat.
