摘要: There is provided a polymer or low-molecular-weight compound multilayer type organic EL device configured such that a light-emitting layer formed on a hole transport layer includes a mixture of a polymer material and a low-molecular weight material. With such a configuration, the low-molecular-weight material added to the polymer material serves as a binder filling the gap of the steric hindrance to form entanglement of the polymer material and the low-molecular-weight material. This results in that the interface between the hole transport layer and the light-emitting layer is an interface high in adhesion and also high in carrier injectability. Further, optimization of the formation conditions and materials can achieve still higher reliability and longer lifetime.

摘要: This invention has an objective to improve durability at elevated temperature in organic electroluminescent devices using coumarin derivatives as dopant in a luminescent layer. This invention attains the above objective by providing in the organic electroluminescent devices formed by laminating an anode, a hole injection layer, a hole transportation layer, a luminescent layer, an electron transportation layer and a cathode in this order, the luminescent layer which comprises as dopant the green light-emitting coumarin derivative and hole- and electron-transporting substances as host; said coumarin derivative consisting of a plurality of coumarin groups bound to an aromatic ring, heterocycle, or any combination thereof, and exhibiting a glass transition point of 150° C. or higher or a melting point of 297° C. or higher.

The organic layer includes a compound including layer, and the compound including layer includes a compound of 1,3-bis [N,N-bis{(4′-methylbiphen-4-yl)}amino]-5-N,N-bis(4-methylphenyl) aminobenzene. The heat resistance and the vapor deposition property of the organic layer containing the above tertiary amine compound can be improved.

摘要: In an electric guitar, the sound produced upon playing on a string thrown, to a predetermined tension, along and over the fingerboard between the bridge and the head is checked by ear to determine phantom semitone frets with the fingerboard extended imaginarily toward and closer to the bridge and the pickup is mounted on the body at one of the phantom semitone frets. The determination of the installation position for the pickup by reference to vibrations of the string on the basis of the above principle of phantom frets not only assures an improved reproducibility of guitar sounds but enables one to obtain nearly infinite and original sounds from the electric guitar.
