摘要: A production system and a frac sleeve assembly of a frac assembly of the production system. The frac sleeve assembly includes a funnel section that reduces in diameter in a direction of an outlet of the frac assembly, a throat section having a selected diameter, and a ball seat at an intersection of the funnel section and the throat section for receiving a ball. When seated in the ball seat, an entire portion of a ball extending into the funnel section is exposed to disintegrating fluid in the funnel section.

摘要: A method of treating and producing formation fluids includes introducing a first drop ball into a string of tubulars, pumping the first drop ball to a first ball seat, applying pressure to the first drop ball to shift a first sleeve exposing an outlet port, introducing a second drop ball into the string of tubulars, pumping the second drop ball to a second ball seat, applying pressure to the second drop ball to shift a second sleeve closing the outlet port and opening an inlet port, and introducing a fluid through at least one of a first injection port directly onto the first drop ball and a second injection port directly onto the second drop ball. The first injection port is arranged upwardly of the first sleeve and the second injection port is arranged upwardly of the second sleeve.

摘要: A system monitors and controls the injection of additives into formation fluids recovered through a well may include a plurality of nozzles that receive the injection fluid from an umbilical disposed in a well. Each nozzle may have an associated flow control element that is configured to affect a flow of the injection fluid ejected through the associated nozzle. The umbilical may include one or more filters positioned in a first of two parallel conduits formed along the umbilical. An occlusion member restricts in a second of the two conduits. The occlusion member permits flow in the second conduit after a predetermined pressure differential exists in the second conduit. The system may include a plurality of pressure sensors disposed along the umbilical, and an injector unit that dispenses fluid into the umbilical. A controller operatively coupled to the injector unit operates the injector in response to measurements from the pressure sensors.

摘要: A ball activated treatment and production system arranged between a first packer and a second packer includes a tubular including an inlet port, and an outlet port. A first sleeve is selectively slideably arranged in the tubular. The first sleeve includes a first ball seat and is arranged to selectively open the outlet port. A second sleeve is selectively slideably arranged in the tubular. The second sleeve includes a second ball seat and is arranged to selectively open the inlet port. At least one fluid injection port is arranged in the tubular and is fluidically connectable to a fluid conduit arranged externally to the tubular.
