The wall box further includes a plurality of fiber optic adapters mounted to the enclosure. The fiber optic adapters include an inner port positioned inside the interior region and an outer port positioned at an outer surface of the enclosure. A tray stack is mounted within the interior region. The tray stack includes a tray mount pivotally connected to the enclosure. The tray mount includes a top surface and an oppositely disposed bottom surface. A first splice tray mounting area is disposed on the top surface and a second splice tray mounting area is disposed on the bottom surface. A plurality of trays is disposed in the first splice tray mounting area. A tray is disposed in the second splice tray mounting area.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a wall box adapted to be mounted at a mid-span access location of a fiber optic telecommunications cable. The wall box includes an enclosure having a main body with an open front side. The enclosure also includes a front cover for opening and closing the open front side of the main body. The wall box defining first and second cable entrance/exit openings positioned at opposite sides of the enclosure. The main body defines an open region through an exterior wall of the main body. The open region extends from the first cable entrance/exit opening to the second cable entrance/exit opening. The enclosure also includes a cable cover that is mounted to the main body to cover the open region. The cable cover is a separate component from the front cover.

The cable is spliced to a fiber distribution cable with a splice. The cable is inserted back into the interior cavity. A spliced end of the cable, a spliced end of the fiber distribution cable and the splice are inserted in a retention device.

    摘要: The drop terminal includes a plurality of fiber optic adapters having outer connector ports that are accessible from outside the drop terminal. The drop terminal receives a fiber optic cable having a plurality of optical fibers. Fiber optic connectors are positioned at the ends of the optical fibers. The fiber optic connectors are inserted into inner connector ports of the fiber optic adapters. The drop terminal also includes an anchor block for securing the fiber optic cable to a main housing of the drop terminal. The anchor block can be secured to the main housing of the drop terminal by a mechanical interlock. The drop terminal may also include a transparent interior shield or liner that retains fibers in position within the drop terminal during assembly of the drop terminal.
