Abstract: A method is disclosed, operating a mobile station in a wireless network system comprising a plurality of base stations allocated in N channels. A Data packet is transmitted at a time interval p to a first base station of the wireless network system to which the mobile station is currently connected. Each of a plurality of partial scan sections is performed at the interval of every M data packets to monitor messages from the base stations of the N channels.
