    Abstract: The present invention provides a bi-directional perfusion cannula for use in peripheral veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation of a patient, the cannula comprising a cannula main body having a primary lumen, the primary lumen leading to a distal end of the cannula main body for providing retrograde blood perfusion, characterized in that the main body further comprises a passage for passing a second cannula therethrough, the passage being oriented such that when a second cannula is inserted into the passage the second cannula is arranged for providing anterograde blood perfusion.

    Abstract: An implantable medical lead includes a connector, outer lead, inner lead, electrical contact, and conductive element. The connector is configured to electrically communicate with processing circuitry of a medical device. The inner lead, positioned within a lumen defined by the outer lead, is configured to translate relative to the outer lead. The inner lead includes an inner lead electrode and an inner conductor electrically connected to the inner lead electrode, where the inner conductor is configured to electrically communicate with the connector. The outer lead includes an outer lead electrode and an outer conductor electrically connected to the outer lead electrode. The outer conductor is configured to electrically communicate with the connector.

    Abstract: An embolic filter is provided with a support frame and a porous polymeric membrane connected to the support frame. The embolic filter is configured to be movable between a collapsed state and a deployed state where the filter extends, in use, into contact with an inner wall of a patient's vasculature. The support frame of the embolic filter includes a shape memory material such that the support frame acts as a deployment arrangement to move the embolic filter from the collapsed state into the deployed state.

    Abstract: A delivery catheter system includes a catheter and an integrated embolic filter that is deployable prior to the delivery of a prosthesis in a patient's vasculature and retrievable after delivery of said prosthesis. The embolic filter is moveable from a collapsed state, in which the embolic filter is retained within the catheter body, to a deployed state in which the embolic filter extends from the catheter body and, in use, into contact with an inner wall of a patient's vasculature.
