摘要： The disclosure relates to a cone crusher, including a supporting device being arranged inside a cavity of a main shaft of the crusher. The supporting device is arranged to support a crushing head, and to be vertically displaceable for adjusting the width of a crushing gap. The supporting device has an upper portion enclosed by the crushing head, the upper portion being arranged to provide support to the crushing head. A lower portion extends downwards within the cavity of the main shaft, wherein the upper portion and the lower portion have different outer dimensions as defined transverse to the shaft axis. A pressure-active surface is formed at a transition between the upper portion and the lower portion so as to form a variable-volume compression chamber within the cavity below said pressure-active surface.
