The mobile terminal includes a wireless communication unit for scanning channel frequencies for at least one broadcast signal, a controller for processing channel information for the at least one broadcast signal, and controlling the display of a scan result of the wireless communication unit, and an output unit for displaying the channel information of the at least one broadcast signal under control of the controller.
