摘要： A drain cleaning apparatus includes a frame member, a rotatable cable storage drum, a drain cleaning cable, and a motor. The frame member is configured to rest on an associated surface. A wheel, or other friction reducing device, can connect to the frame member to facilitate moving the drain cleaning apparatus across the associated surface. The rotatable cable storage drum mounts to the frame member. The drum defines an axis. The drum includes axially spaced front and rear ends and a radial outer peripheral wall between the front and rear ends. The front end of the drum includes an opening. The drain cleaning cable is coiled in the drum about the axis. The cable includes an outer end portion extending through the opening. The motor includes an output shaft and a motor housing. The output shaft of the motor is operatively connected with the drum for rotating the drum relative to the frame.

摘要： A snake feeding device comprises a base having opposite ends, an actuator pivotally mounted on the base, and first and second sets of drive rolls spaced apart in the direction between ends of the base. Each set includes a roll on the base and two rolls on the actuator for engaging a snake therebetween and displacing the snake relative to the base in the direction between the ends thereof in response to rotation of the snake. 摘要： An inspection system and method for use in underground utility construction, especially underground boring operations, is provided. The inspection system generally includes a sensor, a sensor carrier apparatus, and an output device. The sensor is employed to obtain inspection data regarding the condition of a tunnel created in an underground boring operation. The sensor carrier is adapted to incorporate the sensor and connect to means for transporting the sensor through the tunnel. The output device receives an output signal from the sensor corresponding to the inspection data and presents it to an operator for interpretation and/or otherwise documents and/or records the inspection data.

摘要： A feed control device particularly suited for mounting on a hand held, power driven drain cleaning apparatus having an elongate rotatable snake comprises a tubular housing having a transverse wall therein provided with a passage for the snake, a pair of driving rolls mounted on the wall for rotation about axes skewed relative to the housing axis and a drive actuating roll mounted on the housing for radial displacement to engage the rotating snake against the driving rolls. The actuating drive roll provides the inner end of an actuating drive unit having an outer end engaged by a pivotal lever on the housing for displacing the actuating drive roll against the snake. The actuating drive unit is adjustable in length between the inner and outer ends thereof and is removably supported on the housing, and the lever and outer end of the drive actuating unit interengage for the member to retain the parts of the actuating drive unit in an adjusted position and to releasably hold the drive actuating unit on the housing.
