摘要: A plural-frequency capacitive occupancy sensing system comprises an antenna electrode and a detection circuit, which is configured to drive the antenna electrode at least with a first and a second signal at a first and a second frequency, respectively, so as to obtain at least a first and a second measurement value indicative of at least one of conductance, susceptance, resistance, reactance and capacitance between the antenna electrode and a reference node, at the first frequency and the second frequency, respectively. The detection circuit compares the capacitance between the antenna electrode and the reference node with a threshold capacitance, the threshold capacitance being derived from a difference between the first and second measurement values and/or the capacitance between the antenna electrode and the reference node being corrected based upon the difference between the measurement values. The detection circuit outputs an occupancy state signal depending on the comparison.

摘要: A combined seat heater and capacitive occupancy sensor comprises a heater network including a heating element (11) and a capacitive sensing circuit connected to the heating element to sense a capacitive load. A first and a second interface are provided for connecting the heating element to a first and a second terminal of a power source, respectively. Each interface comprises electronically controlled switches (3, 5; 4, 6) arranged in series and defining an intermediate node (20; 21). An oscillator (8) is AC-coupled to the intermediate nodes to apply an oscillating voltage thereto. A current measuring means (9), AC-coupled between the oscillator and the heating element, keeps the AC-potential of the heating element at least substantially equal, in amplitude and phase, to the oscillating voltage on the intermediate nodes and to derive the capacitive load from a thus resulting current flowing into the heating element.

Each of the upper and lower walls comprises a forward bearing face (8a) and a rear bearing face (7a) separated by a forwardly convergent intermediate face. The front and rear bearing faces (8a,7a) are substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis (50) of the wear member and engage corresponding bearing faces (8,7) in said spigot.

摘要: A rake is described that is particularly adapted for removing vegetation and other debris from ponds and other bodies of water. The rake includes a debris collector, an elongated handle having a distal end attached to the debris collector, and a proximal end, and a flotation mechanism that has a raised position and a lowered position, whereby the debris collector is held above the water when the flotation mechanism is in the lowered position and is lowered into the water when the flotation mechanism is moved to its raised position. A preferred flotation mechanism includes a rotatable shaft with opposed ends; parallel connector arms having proximal ends attached to the ends of said rotatable shaft and extending to one side of said shaft, and distal ends; floats attached to the distal ends of said connector arms; and an actuator to rotate said rotatable shaft to raise and lower said floats.

摘要: A releasably engageable locking pin for coupling members such as shackles and the like comprises a shaft of non-circular cross-section with a head at one end. The non-circular shaft is engageable in aligned complementary apertures in shackle devises to prevent rotation of the pin in the apertures. At the end of the pin opposite the head is a bayonet-type coupling formation to releasably engage a retaining member under the influence of a resilient bias caused by axial compression of a resiliently deformable member when in a locked position.
