摘要： A grill assembly for a cyclone dust collecting apparatus for use in a vacuum cleaner capable of improving dust collection of the vacuum cleaner by preventing dirt from flowing into a vacuum-generating device after passing through a grill. The grill assembly is disposed at an upper part of an air discharge passage of a cyclone body for separating dirt from a whirling air current by centrifugal force by forming the whirling air current from drawn air, and the grill assembly prevents dirt from being drawn into the vacuum-generating device of the vacuum cleaner. The grill assembly comprises a grill body having a plurality of passages formed thereon and filtering units disposed along an interior wall of the grill body for filtering dust drawn into the grill body through the plurality of passages.

摘要： A cyclone dust collecting apparatus has: a cyclone body; a suction pipe extended to be protruded into the cyclone body by penetrating one side of the cyclone body in order to guide an air, which has been drawn into through a suction unit, into the cyclone body; a discharge pipe for guiding a clean air centrifugally separated in the cyclone body to an outside of the cyclone body; and a guide member for guiding the air, which whirls along a side wall of the cyclone body after being drawn into through the suction pipe, to a lower side of the suction pipe. According to the cyclone dust collecting apparatus of the present invention, a deterioration of suction force of the cyclone dust collecting apparatus is prevented, and thus a dust collection efficiency of the cyclone dust collecting apparatus will be improved.

摘要： Disclosed is a locking unit to fix a removable cyclone dust collector in a receiving portion of a main body of a vacuum cleaner. The locking unit comprises a locking recess formed at one side of a contact surface of the cyclone dust collector and the receiving portion. A lock element ascends and descends between a locking position and an unlocking position with respect to the locking recess and passes through a hole which is formed at another side of the contact surface of the cyclone dust collector and the receiving portion. An operating member selectively moves the lock element to the locking position and the unlocking position.

摘要： An upright-type vacuum cleaner in which a cyclone body is connected to and separated from a cleaner body without the use of a separate tool. The upright-type vacuum cleaner has a cleaner body having a suction brush formed at a lower part, and a vacuum-generating device built therein. A cyclone unit for separating dust from the air drawn through a suction passage is connected with the suction brush, and discharges the cleaned air through a discharging passage connected with the vacuum-generating device. A dust-container is removably connected with a lower part of the cyclone unit, for collecting the separated dust by the cyclone unit. The cyclone unit has a locking handle, and a handle connection portion for removably connecting with the locking handle, formed on a corresponding place on the cleaner body.
