The joint members are integrally formed with the housing, whereby the display panel is pivotable relative to the base. With this configuration, the integrated joint members provide the flat panel display with a simple structure, relatively easy assembly, and reduced cost.

One end of the first bolt includes a screw thread (2391) thereon. The first bolt extends through a second one of the connecting pieces and threadingly engages in the screw hole of the second side plate of the supporting member, such that the second connecting piece is connected to the second side plate and pivotable relative to the second side plate.

摘要： An exemplary flat panel display (200) includes a display module (22), a supporting arm (25), and a base (27). The supporting arm includes a slide plate (251). The base defines an accommodating space (275). The supporting arm is attached to the display module such that the display module is pivotable about the supporting arm. The slide plate is slidably received in the accommodating space such that the supporting arm is attached to the base, and the slide plate is slidably removable from the accommodating space such that the supporting arm is detached from the base. The supporting arm can be easily detached from the base. Thus, unduly large space inhabited by the supporting member can be effectively saved during the transportion of the flat panel display (200).

The metal shield is secured at the first back of the display panel, including a first housing (45) portion adjacent the first back of the display panel. The circuit board including a power unit (302), a display unit (304) and a switch unit (306) integrated on the circuit board that is accommodated in the first housing portion. An area of the metal shield is smaller than that of the display panel. The flat panel display is convenient for assembly in a reduced weight and a lowered cost.
