    摘要: The present invention provides a focusing and tracking servo circuit used in an optical disk device that can maintain stability of the focusing and tracking servo at a time of recording or reproduction. This focusing and tracking servo circuit includes: a first storage unit that stores a parameter corresponding to light beam power at a time of recording; a second storage unit that stores a parameter corresponding to light beam power at a time of reproduction; and a selector unit that selects from the parameters stored in the first and second storage units upon switching between recording and reproduction, and sets the selected parameters in a detector unit. With this structure, the parameters can be instantly switched at the same time as the switching between recording and reproduction, and the stability of the focusing and tracking servo can be maintained.

    摘要: An optical disk device for writing data onto an optical disk having a wobble track comprises an optical pickup for irradiating laser light of a writing power and laser light of a replaying power onto an optical disk and for converting return light from the optical disk into an electrical signal, a filter for extracting a wobble component contained in the return light signal when the laser of a writing power is irradiated, a processor for detecting the direction of track deviation based on the phase of the wobble component, and an actuator for driving the optical pickup in the width direction of the track based on the direction of the track deviation in order to control the tracking. Because the phase of the wobble component differs for a case when a light spot is deviated radially inward and for a case when a light spot is deviated radially outward, the direction of the track deviation can be detected based on the phase of the wobble component and the tracking can be controlled during data writing.

A servo processor of the optical disk drive has a low frequency equalizer, a high frequency equalizer, a limiter, and an adder. A limit voltage value of the limiter is set by means of a control command from a system controller. The limit voltage value is set so as to become greater during a data recording period than in a data regeneration period. An output from the adder is supplied as a tracking drive signal to a tracking actuator or as a focus drive signal to a focus actuator.

    摘要: An optical disk apparatus which can exactly determine whether or not an optical disk is loaded therein in a short time. The optical disk apparatus determines the presence of the optical disk having a transparent film provided on a recording surface by means of a focusing performed by an optical pick-up. The optical pick-up receives a reflected light beam reflected by the optical disk and splits the received light beam into at least two light beams so as to output signals corresponding to each of the split light beams. A controlling unit controls a movement of the optical pick-up in a direction perpendicular to the recording surface of the optical disk. A signal generating unit generates a focus error signal when signals corresponding to the reflected light beam are supplied by the optical pick-up. A determining unit determines whether or not the optical disk is loaded in the optical disk apparatus by counting the number of the focus error signals. The determination is carried out while the optical pick-up travels in a single direction.

A dust collection vent is arranged in front of the opening of the stacking unit on the mounting table. A duct expels a dust-free air from an exhaust vent provided in an exhaust passage formed around the suction fan. In another configuration, the dust collection vent is provided inside the stacking unit, and the dust generated inside the stacking unit is sucked in by the suction fan.

First, displaying three model projection planes 1 for composing a cubic view on the display, and designating the plan view to be projected, the plane standard point and direction on the designated plate are specified.     摘要: Distilling tube apparatus for converting salt water such as sea water into fresh water is provided. The apparatus includes a first tube through which a feed stream of heated salt water is caused to flow, the first tube being constructed of a porous material which is both water-vapor permeable and liquid water impermeable, which tube allows water vapor to permeate through its walls thereof when heated salt water flows therethrough, the vapor then condensing outside of the first tube upon cooling of the vapor thereat. This first tube is preferably constructed of porous, expanded polytetrafluoroethylene. A second tube oriented in generally parallel relationship and in close proximity to the first tube is provided through which cooling water is caused to flow. The cooling water is maintained at a temperature lower than that of the heated salt water, thereby resulting in a lowering of the temperature of the surroundings of the second tube and providing an enhanced driving force for distillation of the salt water. A third housing tube is provided which houses both the first tube and the second tube within its interior. This housing tube has a plurality of spaced apart openings in the wall thereof to permit fresh water which has condensed externally to the first tube and within the housing tube to flow through these openings and thence outwardly of the distilling tube apparatus.
