    Abstract: An inductor is configured to keep an inductance value within an allowable range of a specification. The inductor includes a conductor embedded in a core containing magnetic powder. The core includes a mounting surface facing a mounting substrate side at the time of mounting, an upper surface facing the mounting surface, a pair of end surfaces orthogonal to the mounting surface, and a pair of side surfaces orthogonal to the mounting surface and the pair of end surfaces. The conductor includes a conductive wire portion extending inside the core over the pair of end surfaces, and an electrode portion led out from each of the end surfaces and extending along the end surface and the mounting surface. The conductive wire portion is curved toward the mounting surface side in side view when the core is viewed from the side surface.

    Abstract: A surface mount inductor includes a molded body made of a composite material containing a magnetic powder, and a metal plate including a first metal plate portion that is buried in the molded body and second metal plate portions that extend from the first metal plate portion to outside the molded body. The second metal plate portions each include a first bent portion that extends from a side surface of the molded body and is bent in a direction that intersects the mounting surface and a second bent portion that is bent from the direction that intersects the mounting surface toward a side surface the molded body. The second metal plate portions extend along the molded body onto the mounting surface and form an external terminal. An internal angle of each first bent portion is formed so as to be an obtuse angle.

The conductive wire portion includes a belt-shaped flat plate portion.     Abstract: A surface-mount inductor includes a molded body and a metallic plate. The metallic plate has a first metallic plate portion embedded in the molded body such that an extension direction and a width direction thereof are parallel to the mounting surface; second metallic plate portions extending from both end portions, in the extension direction, of the first metallic plate portion to a bottom surface of the molded body in a direction to the mounting surface; and third metallic plate portions disposed to extend from the second metallic plate portions along the bottom surface of the molded body and be separated from side surfaces adjacent to the bottom surface of the molded body. Each of the third metallic plate portions has at least a surface exposed from the molded body. End portions of the metallic plate are embedded to be separated from the side surfaces of the molded body.

    Abstract: An inductor including a conductor having a plate thickness is embedded in a core containing magnetic powder. The core includes a mounting surface facing a mounting substrate side at the time of mounting, an upper surface facing the mounting surface, and a pair of end surfaces orthogonal to the mounting surface. The conductor includes a conductive wire extending inside the core over the pair of end surfaces, and a pair of electrode terminals. Each electrode terminal includes an electrode portion at respective end portions of the conductive wire and exposed to the mounting surface, and first and second bent portions having a first bend and second bend, respectively, which are each 2.0 times to 3.0 times the plate thickness. When one of the first and second bends is 2.0 times or more the plate thickness, the other is less than 3.0 times the plate thickness.

In the magnetic portion, the packing density of the magnetic powder by volume is 60% or higher.
