    Abstract: Fluid flow control arrangements, particularly for a heat exchanger or a reactor in which first and second fluids are directed alternately to a common element such as a heat exchange surface, by means of flow control devices of the fluid logic type thereby avoiding use of mechanical valves and facilitating operation at high temperatures. Preferably two common elements with the associated flow control devices are provided and operated in opposed phase relationship to one another.
