Abstract: In order to generate a hypothesis which is convincing to a user, an information processing device (1) includes: a hypothesis generation section (11) which generates, by abductive inference, a plurality of hypotheses that differ from each other; a hypothesis display section (12) which causes a display device to display a plurality of elements making up each of the plurality of hypotheses that have been generated; and an acceptance section (13) which accepts, from a user, a feedback on at least one of the plurality of elements that have been displayed. The hypothesis generation section (11) applies a constraint condition which varies depending on the feedback, and regenerates at least one hypothesis.

Abstract: To provide an information processing device capable of surely calculating, from at least one of the known value of a conditional probability and a mutual relation of conditional probabilities, the range of values that designated conditional probabilities can take. The information processing device (500) includes a converting unit (510) and a calculating unit (520). The converting unit (510) converts conditional probabilities, which are the calculation target of the range of values that can be taken, into real number variables. The calculating unit (520) calculates, using, as constraint conditions, the real number first-order formula group obtained by converting a first set of first-order formulas and a second set of first-order formulas, the range of values that the converted real number variables can take.
